The Clark International Airport Corporation Gender and Development Technical Working Group on October 19, 2022 held the first Face to Face Gender Fair Language at Xenia Hotel Clark Freeport. The resource speaker TSG. Diosdado Dela Fuente Jr., an active enlisted personnel of the Philippine Air Force (PAF) gave an insight about Gender Fair Language to CIAC Employees and Locators.
The whole day activity is part of CIAC’s Gad Plans and Programs in cooperation with the Philippine Commission on Women (PCW) which is the governing agency that leads in the campaign against violence against women and children.
Gender Fair Language is about reducing gender stereotyping and discrimination or a language that has a bias towards a particular sex or social gender.
