Employees of the Clark International Airport Corporation (CIAC) led by CIAC Vice President for Airport Operations Irish Calaguas and the CIAC Gender and Development Technical Working Committee distributed some 200 assorted canned goods, rice, noodles, and toiletries to 200 Aeta families at Sitio Haduan in Mabalacat, Pampanga on December 7,2021. The project is also part of the Corporate Social Responsibility of CIAC and the observance of the Violence Against Women Campaign (VAWC) from November 25 to December 12.
Haduan Aeta Cheftain Roy Tanglao thanked CIAC for their generosity and support to the aeta communities saying that “kami po ay nagpapasalamat sa pamunuan ng CIAC at sa GAD-TWG commitee sa tulong na binigay sa amin.”
“Sana po sa mga darating na panahon ay hindi magsasawa ang CIAC sa kanilang hangarin na tumulong sa mga katutubo dito sa Hauduan, Mabuhay po kayo!” Tangalo added.
