CIAC TO HOLD COLOR RUN AT CLARK AIRPORT RUNWAY

Close to 500 runners are expected to join the first ever five-kilometer Color Fun Run on August 15, 2015 at the Clark International Airport (CRK) as part of its month-long 20th anniversary celebration this month.

Clark International Airport Corporation (CIAC) President and CEO Emigdio Tanjuatco III will lead the first-ever Color Fun Run at the Clark airport runway on Saturday that is expected to draw running enthusiasts and health buffs from nearby towns and cities in Central and Northern Luzon including Metro Manila.

The gates at CIAC will opened as early as 6:00 am as assembly time will be at 7 am. Gun start will be at 7:30 am.

The Color Fun Run is one of the several activities lined up for the celebration of the 20th anniversary of CIAC this month and at the same time is part of a marketing strategy to promote the Clark airport in Pampanga.

The Color Fun Run is not a typical five-kilometer running event as participants will be splattered with water-based paint as they negotiate their way through the route, hence its name.

Expected participants include CIAC employees and locators but will also be open to other interested individuals.

Registration fee is P400 per head and includes a singlet and race bib. Registration is until August 13, 2015.

Interested parties may inquire with the CIAC Human Resources Department (HRD) at (045) 599-2888 or 599-2897 Loc. 751 and ask for Kim Delos Reyes.
