The Philippine Commission on Women (PCW) recently approved the Clark International Airport Corporation’s Gender and Development Plan and Budget which met the required minimum five percent (5%) GAD budget allocation, and complied all the requested revisions in the GBP, within the prescribed period.
The CIAC GAD Plan and Budget has passed the required minimum of five percent of GAD budget allocation for the fifth consecutive year. The PCW is a policy making, advisory, and coordinating body that leads in the development of gender-responsive policies, conduct of advocacy, provision of appropriate and strategic technical assistance, and monitoring and evaluation of plans and programs on gender mainstreaming towards a more gender responsive government bureaucracy and institutions.
