The Clark International Airport Corporation Gender and Development Technical Working Group (CIAC GAD-TWG) Chairperson and Vice-President for Administration and Finance Nancy C. Paglinawan on March 12, 2025 led the distribution of food packages, five-kilo sacks of rice and bandanas to 18 members of the Malaya Lolas of Mapaniqui, Candaba, Pampanga earlier today as part of the activities for CIAC’s celebration of Women’s Month.
The oldest member, Ma Dela Paz, is 98 years old and has been under the care of the organization since it was established in 1990. The Malaya Lolas is an organization based in Pampanga composed of former “comfort women”, or victims of sexual slavery, by the Japanese Imperial Army during World War II. The GAD-TWG also provided lunch for the Malaya Lolas and distributed cash assistance donated by CIAC employees.
