New CIAC President and CEO

Joseph Pascua Alcazar, a member of the CIAC Board of Directors and with over twenty-seven years of management experience in marketing, business development, information, and telecommunications, has recently been appointed the new CIAC President and CEO.
Alcazar holds a degree in Communications from the University of the Philippines and a management certification from the Asian Institute of Management. His previous role as Chief ICT Advisor at The BCDA Group (Bases Conversion and Development Authority) supported the government’s Build Build Build Program.
He also played a key role in the successful 30th Southeast Asian Games in 2019 and served as President and CEO of the 11th Asian Age Group Aquatics Championships hosted for the first time by the Philippines at the New Clark City last February 2024.
The new CIAC chief previously held senior positions at Smart Communications and McCann Erickson, co-founded Gondola Mobile Solutions, and chaired the Mobile Marketing Association Asia Pacific.
